2022 Grants in Action
With the grant that Hospice of Southern Illinois received we purchased Dementia Live training. Our staff is using the Dementia Live training to simulate what it is like to live with dementia. Participants are asked to don dark glasses, heavy work gloves and wear head phones that have a loud noises blasted through them while attempting every day tasks. It is really an eye opening experience.

Monroe County EMS, Keeping Children Safe Endeavor, educating caregivers in the importance of keeping our children safe. EMS educating on proper passenger seat installation and performing CPR.

Our clients are so excited to have new computers to use for vocational training. We are able to work on typing skills, searching employment opportunities, use our employment curriculum and of course look up the St. Louis Cardinals baseball schedule! We truly appreciate being a recipient and the computers will go to good use.
